Fletcher, 36years and 336 days old, is currently the oldest player in the league ahead of James McDonald (35y 171d) and Brent Harvey (33y 330d).
Fletcher played in the most wins of any current player having played in 206 wins, ahead of Matthew Scarlett (174 wins) and Brent Harvey (174 wins).
Fletcher has made the most finals appearances of any current player with 23 finals matches with Matthew Scarlett (21) in second position.
Fletcher is a dual premiership player (1993 and 2000), two-time All-Australian (2000 and 2007) and Essendon best and fairest winner (2000).
He is set to become only the second Essendon player and eleventh player in league history to play 350 games.
The veteran Bomber will equal Doug Hawkins in 11th position on the all time games record list in VFL/AFL football.
He currently sits second on the Essendon Football Club all time games record list behind Simon Madden (378).
Hundreds of Essendon supporters have turned up to watch the Bombers train at Metricon Stadium this afternoon ahead of their round three match against the Gold Coast. The red and black faithful were out in force to show their support for the Bombers as they took part in a light training session ahead of tomorrow night's match.
