Essendon has named its squad to face the Western Bulldogs on Easter Sunday.

After a five-goal showing in his VFL comeback last week, Tom Edwards has been included on the extended interchange, with utility Nik Cox also among the returning faces in the 26-man squad.

Jayden Nguyen is another hoping for a senior recall, with second-year swingman Kayle Gerreyn also joining the eight listed on the bench.

Nate Caddy will miss due to delayed concussion symptoms, while Brayden Fiorini remains out of action due to a back complaint.
