Matthew Lloyd probably summed it up in his “Insider” column earlier this week, we can talk about how much improvement this Essendon side has got in it until we are blue in the face. The cold, hard fact is that the time has come for this Essendon side to show it is a far better unit than it has shown itself to be over the past two rounds. If it doesn’t, it will almost certainly find itself out side the top eight for the first time in four years.
