Essendon assistant coach Robert Shaw was honoured last Friday night when the Tasmanian Team of the Century was announced at Wrest Point in Hobart. Shaw was named assistant coach of the team, deputy to coach Roy Cazaly. Shaw attended the dinner, which over 700 guests from around Australia were present at.

If the Tasmanian Team of the Century were ever to take the field, Shaw and Cazaly would have great talent to work with. Darrel Baldock was awarded captaincy of the team and North Launceston's John Leedham was named vice-captain.
