Essendon veteran Paul Salmon will launch his latest book - Fish Tales - in the all-new Bomber Shop this Wednesday, July 31st at 5.15pm. Fish Tales is a collection of humourous short stories inspired from Salmon's time at both Essendon and Hawthorn Football Clubs. The book is a great read at $26.00 and supporters are invited to come along tomorrow and meet Salmon and get their edition of Fish Tales signed by the dual premiership player.
James Davies didn't follow the traditional path to start an AFL career. Unlike most AFL draftees, Davies didn't play TAC cup, instead opting to focus on school football - he captained school side Xavier in his final year. ""The other players had a bit of a head start on me because the TAC cup is pretty professional now and the pre-season is quite full-on. It is more of a club orientated environment compared to school footy,"" Davies said.
