Dean Solomon and Barry Young were both suspended by the tribunal tonight for one match, and will miss the big game against Sydney on Saturday night.

Dean was suspended for kneeing Wayne Carey. Carey admitted he was playing for a free kick, but the umpire said the contact made was sufficient for a report to be laid. Dean has been playing extremely well this season, and now he is ineligible for the Norwich Rising Star award.

Barry was suspended for charging Corey McKernan in the firey first quarter. Barry has been one of the strong men for the Bombers this year, and his presence will be missed against the Swans.

No doubt both players will make a strong return against West Coast the following week.
