Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy might send injured stars James Hird and Joe Misiti to Japan this weekend to watch the World Cup. Misiti and Hird are set to still miss another three to four weeks with injury and are available to go if Sheedy gives them the nod. ""If they did go, we would naturally get them to bring back as much information as possible and see what is happening over at the top level of soccer. It is like seeing a Grand Final but a couple of them in the one period,"" Sheedy said.

Sheedy said he had no desire to go with the injured duo saying he is happy coaching the Bombers at the present time. ""I am quite happy being a coach in the AFL knowing full well we probably have the best football game in the world. I am happy with that to be quite honest. AFL is the one game that rugby and soccer can't beat in Australia. When the world catches up with it might blow them all out of the water,"" Sheedy said.
