On a positive note - Essendon favourite Dustin Fletcher should return to the side for Friday nights must win match against Hawthorn. Fletcher will be a welcome addition to the side that struggled against Port Adelaide on Saturday night. The 27-year-old was a late withdrawal from last weekend's match due to his right adductor muscle he hurt in the final stages of the Round 10 match against the Kangaroos. ""Fletcher will undergo a fitness test at training tomorrow night but is almost certain to play Friday night. He wasn't 100% on Saturday and that is why he didn't play. It will be a bonus having such an experienced player back in the side,"" Drain said.
FISH SET TO MISS
Premiership player Paul Salmon is likely to miss the clash against his former club, Hawthorn, on Friday night. The 37-year-old had soreness in his achilles in the match against Port Adelaide and football manager Matthew Drain said at this stage he is likely to miss the important match. ""Salmon had soreness in his achilles in the third quarter and as a result will be doubtful this week. The injury is not serious but at this stage we might rest him on Friday night,"" Drain said.
