The 'AFL: It's a Serious Business' will raise awareness for Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can’ campaign – a national fundraising campaign to establish specialized and age appropriate youth cancer centres across the country. Cancer is the biggest disease killer of Australian teenagers and in the last 25 years there has been no improvement or positive developments in survival rates for 15 – 30 year old cancer patients.
All Bomber fans can make a difference for the ‘You Can’ campaign and are urged to raise money and awareness for youth cancer centres across the country. It's easy - all you need to do is gather your unused mobile phones and put them in a prepaid ‘You Can’ envelope (available by clicking here) and put it in the post or simply drop your old phone in a ‘You Can’ box.
The MC for the night will be OneHD and Channel Ten identity Anthony Hudson and Sony Music star Damien Leith will perform songs from his latest album.
In Australia there are over 20 million unused mobile phones in which the foundation can put to good use to join the fight against cancer. ‘You Can’ make a difference and help the fight against youth cancer.
