This weeks group contains four of Essendon's favourite sons and greatest players.Terry Daniher, Neale Daniher, Paul Van Der Haar and Scott Lucas are competing for a spot in the Essendon Football Club history book to become a Champion of Essendon. Terry Daniher played 294 games for the Bombers between 1978 and 1992 and captained the side to back-to-back premierships in 1984 and 1985. Daniher was an extremely mobile player, took a strong mark and could hold down any position. He was aggressive, versatile and led by example. Terry's older brother Neale's career was cut short due to a debilitating knee injury. A safe mark and a great on-field thinker, Neale finished up playing just 82 games for Essendon and he kicked 32 goals in that time. He won the Essendon best and fairest in 1981.

Paul Van Der Haar played during the same era as the Daniher brothers. Known as the ""Flying Dutchman"", Van Der Haar was a brilliant high marking, long kicking, hard tackling, exciting player capable of producing the unpredictable. A member of the 1984 and 1985 premiership wins, Van Der Haar played 201 games for the Bombers and kicked 278 goals. Current Bomber champion Scott Lucas is in the middle of his career. Already he has one premiership medallion to his credit and is renowned for his tireless work ethic and hard running. He has stood consistently tall in the hardest position to play on the ground - centre half forward.

It is up to you to decide which of these four players should become a Champion of Essendon. To cast your vote, visit the Champions of Essendon here.
