Essendon has made a late change for its match against Hawthorn at Adelaide Oval this afternoon, with young defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher replacing Michael Hurley (ankle).

Zerk-Thatcher joins Joe Daniher, Cale Hooker and Andrew Phillips as inclusions, while Hurley, Tom Bellchambers (knee), Aaron Francis (hamstring) and Sam Draper (managed) make way.
