The news from Windy Hill didn’t get much better this morning with Dustin Fletcher to face a tripping charge tomorrow night. Fletcher was charged on video evidence this morning for allegedly tripping the Kangaroo's Anthony Stevens in the third quarter of last Friday night’s game.

And on the injury front things didn’t get much better either with Joel Reynolds to miss the remainder of the season with a severe ankle injury. For the second time this season Reynolds has gone onto the long-term injury list – the first time was due to a bout of glandular fever.

Reynolds now joins Courtney Johns (hip) as players sidelined for the remainder of the season. Sean Wellman (hamstring) and Dean Rioli (hamstring) are both at least one week away from resuming while Damian Cupido (knee) is expected to miss another two weeks.

Mark Mercuri will face a fitness test but even if passed fit is unlikely to play any football this weekend because the VFL team has a bye. Rookie James Davies is another 2 – 3 weeks away after his injured foot developed an infection.
