Essendon members would have to approve any change in jumper design before it was given the go ahead, Essendon chairman Graeme McMahon said this afteroon. McMahon was responding to an article in today's Herald-Sun which looked at the issue of jumper clashes. ""We have no intention of changing our guernsey,"" McMahon said. ""But for the design to change in any way, it would require a 75% majority of members to vote in favour of the change."" Essendon has worn the same guernsey ever since it became a founding member of the VFL in 1897.
