General manager of list and recruiting Adrian Dodoro said the club was pleased to secure an outcome with Carlton.

“We now have three top-10 draft picks for this year’s AFL national draft, which is a very strong position to be in, particularly with the calibre of this year’s draft class,” Dodoro said.

“We wish Adam well for his future and we will now continue to focus on the remainder of the trade period and upcoming national draft.”

The Bombers yesterday secured imposing tall Peter Wright from the Gold Coast Suns in an exchange for a future-fourth round pick.
