? The Essendon Football Club Women’s Network Grand Final Lunch where the Essendon Football Club Football Woman of the Year will be announced. The lunch commences at 12 noon and people wishing to attend the lunch should contact the club on 92300300. Cost $88. The luncheon panel includes Kevin Sheedy, Linda Dessau, Mary Kenneally, Louise Adler, Tony Shaw, Denise Scott, David Hookes and Dwayne Russell.

Saturday, September 2nd:
? Essendon Football Club Grand Final Brunch commencing at 10.30am and finishing at 12.30pm. The function is being held at the Hotel Sofitel and some packages are still available. Packages include a two-course meal and a Grand Final ticket. People interested in attending should contact the club.
? The Windy Hill Social Club has a number of functions on during the week. The Grand Final Luncheon will be held in the Premiers Room and commences at noon. It includes a two-course meal and a big screen TV. Adults $35 and children $17.50. A big screen TV will also be set up in the Hi Marque Room from noon. The cost is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children. There will be theatre style seating and snacks available. A Grand Final dinner will also be held in the Premiers Room from 7pm. ? An Essendon supporter function to watch the Grand Final will be held in the Victory Room at Colonial Stadium. The room holds a maximum of 3,500 people and food and drink outlets will be open throughout the day. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12. The Victory Room will open at 1.00pm and will remain open for supporters until 6.00pm. Supporters who wish to attend need to call the club from 9am Monday to book.
? Should Essendon win next Saturday, an after match function will be held at the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre – the Rod Laver Arena – from 5.30pm until 10.30pm. The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The players will be presented to supporters at the tennis centre. Supporters are encouraged to head to the tennis centre post-match if Essendon wins - ESSENDON PLAYERS WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO WINDY HILL.
Sunday, September 3rd:? Family Day at Windy Hill from 11am until 3pm. Members will be admitted free upon presentation of their membership card. Non-members $10 and children $5. There will be a big screen, musical entertainment and the players will be presented to the crowd - hopefully along with the Premiership Cup.
