Essendon's 2020 draftees have commenced training in their first day at the NEC Hangar on Monday.

Suiting up in the red and black, Nik Cox, Archie Perkins, Zach Reid, Josh Eyre and Cody Brand were formally introduced to their teammates before joining them on the track.

Brand and Eyre were already familiar faces, having trained with the Bombers' senior side for a week in December last year as part of the club's Next Generation Academy.
