Essendon have gone through a brutal main session on an overcast day at the NEC Hangar.
With AFL clubs now allowed to participate in full training, the playing group were put through their paces in a session which lasted for two and a half hours.
The squad participated in full ground drills, contested work and also completed a 2km time trial.
