Dons Digital has released the third episode of The Road to 2021 – a docuseries taking the Bomber faithful behind the scenes of pre-season.

Viewed by members first, the Past Fuels Future episode explores how senior coach Ben Rutten is embedding the Essendon DNA in his squad, drawing on the Bombers’ proud history to shape their future. 

Recruit Peter Wright gives a player’s perspective on the connection, and how it’s driving him in his move from the League’s second-youngest club to one of its oldest.

With round one fast approaching, head of high performance Sean Murphy shares insights into pre-season and who’s impressing, while there’s added excitement on the track with the arrival of four potential father-son recruits.
