Last week's Bomberland poll asked voters to nominate who they thought should play at full forward in the absence of the suspended Matthew Lloyd. The six nominations were Scott Lucas, Dustin Fletcher, Gary Moorcroft, Paul Barnard, Sean Wellman and Steven Alessio. The votes were fairly evenly spread but it was Barnard (30%) who got the nod among voters. But the 18% who voted in favour of Scott Lucas were thinking along the same lines as the Bomber coaching panel. Although players were rotated through the goalsquare, it was Lucas who spent the vast majority of the game at full forward.

These were some of the comments made by voters:

Jonath Fordyce from Macquarie, A.C.T says: Scotty Lucas has experiance up forward, and is a powerfull target with an ability to grab a great mark, but he needs to work on his accuracy.

Greg Horejsi from Hughesdale, Victoria says: If Alessio cannot do well at full forward considering his experience and size there is probably no place in the team for him!

Laura from Vic says: I think in the end its going to be a really tough decision deciding who should replace Lloydy as full forward but some in form players such as Barney, Moorcroft or Alessio could fill in very well.

Sab from Keilor Park, Vic says: Give Steve a chance to show us what he can do on the ground not on the Bench.

Jake from Tas says: Despite Fletchers poor form in the backline I think it would be best to leave him there. Lucas has been good all over the ground lately and his long kicking would be wasted at full forward. Therefore, Barnard or Alessio who his a much better forward (half) than ruckman anyway should get the role.

Vimal from Tullamarine says: Danny Jacobs can be another option as a forward because he is a good player but does not man up very well. If he goes forward I think he can be another Lappin.

Nigel Leitch from Horsham says: Paul Barnard at full forward, Scott Lucas at centre half forward and Gary Moorcroft flying for screamers in the forward pocket. Paul Barnard is the most improved player in the AFL and can play any position on the ground, except ruck.

Meg from Moorabbin says: The only person who has proven themselves as a full forward is Gary Moorcroft and as everyone knows he took mark of the year and also kicked 6 majors in what was a great preformance

Craig Mason from Nicholson says: I believe Barnard would be a great pressence at full foward allowing Lucas to play CHF where he can bomb those big goals that he has done in previous weeks.
