SAINT WALLY: RETIRED BOMBER HEADS TO MOORABBIN

Retired Bomber Dean Wallis has been appointed as assistant coach to Grant Thomas at St Kilda. The appointment of Wallis ends a 15-year association at Windy Hill. Wallis said the decision to move to St Kilda was one of the hardest decision he has ever had to make. ""It is not easy to leave. All I have ever known is Essendon Football Club but I think in terms of my future this was the best decision to make,"" Wallis said. ""It is the next challenge in my life and I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure the club is heading in the right direction - if I had any doubts about that I wouldn't have taken the job.""
