Edward Darcy has made a number of adjustments to his life this season and all have brought him closer to achieving his dream of playing AFL football. The 19-year-old moved from Darwin earlier in the year thanks to the Michael Long Scholarship program. The Inaugural Long Scholarship provided funding for Darcy to live in Melbourne and go onto Essendon's supplementary list. ""I had to get used to everything firstly and cope with everything down here. It was pretty hard for me at first coming from the top end of Australia and coming to a different lifestyle. Other than that, everything has been pretty good with the way the club has treated me,"" Darcy said.
