For women around the world International Women’s Day is an occasion to review how far women have come in their struggle for equality, peace and development, and an opportunity to unite, network and mobilise for meaningful change - here and overseas.
Over 10,000 women hold a membership with the Bombers and the Essendon Football Club would like to recognise the contribution they make to our organisation.
The Essendon Women's Network helps to unite these women and their passion for the Bombers.
Comprising of a wide variety of females of all ages, professions, lifestyles and personalities, the Essendon Women’s Network gather on various occasions throughout the football season to share their love of the game.
Their first official event of the season will be held on March 21st at AFL World and will involve a night of wining, dining and skill refining.
EWN members will have the opportunity to challenge Kevin Sheedy and a host of Essendon players with a football skills session, while mingling with other women’s network members and friends. The evening will launch this year’s EWN program, and is a great opportunity for all Essendon women to gear-up for the 2007 season.
