Essendon excitement machines Jake Stringer and Nick Hind have received round 14 nominations for the rebel AFL Goal of the Year.

Stringer channelled some Euro 2020 inspiration for his solo effort, pumping the ball inside 50 with a kick off the ground, before chasing it down and dribbling through the Bombers' third goal in the first quarter.

Hind had the red and black faithful in raptures with a high-octane effort in the third term. The electrifying half-back started and finished a chain of possessions through the corridor, putting on the afterburners to burst clear of Hawthorn's Chad Wingard and slam home a goal from the 50m paint.
