Up to 25,000 fans will be allowed into the MCG on Saturday night for Essendon's home game against Melbourne, with the Victorian government today announcing an easing of coronavirus restrictions.

That will mean the club is unfortunately only likely to be able to provide its Reserved Seat members the opportunity to redeem a ticket, given its large member base and reduced capacity.

In the event that there are still tickets available after Friday morning's on-sale for Reserved Seat members, they'll be made available to Flexi members on Friday afternoon. Information will be communicated to Flexi members on Friday once confirmed.

There will be no general public access for the game.

Please find on-sale information via Ticketek below.

Reserved Seat members: 10am-12pm AEST, Friday, June 25

Flexi members: 2pm AEST, Friday, June 25 (this on-sale will only go ahead should tickets remain after the Reserved Seat member on-sale)

Redeeming tickets to sit with other Essendon Reserved Seat members is as easy as entering all barcodes within the one transaction (up to 10 tickets per transaction). We highly recommend selecting 'Best Available' seating when redeeming your tickets as they will sell out quickly.

Instructions on how to redeem your tickets via Ticketek can be found here.
