Essendon will be without Dean Rioli and Sean Wellman for this Sunday's clash against Melbourne. The two experienced players are sidelined with hamstring injuries.
Justin Murphy makes a welcome return to the team this week after one match on the sidelines due to suspension. In addition to Murphy, Mark Alvey, Marc Bullen, Ted Richards and Kepler Bradley come into the squad.
The team will have its final training session tomorrow in preparation for Sunday’s match against Melbourne at the MCG. Three players will be omitted from the 25-man squad after this session.
