Essendon has earned another primetime game following confirmation of the AFL's fixture details for rounds 19 and 20.

The Bombers will host the two Sydney sides in back-to-back matches at Marvel Stadium, facing the Giants in a Saturday twilight game before a Friday night showdown with the Swans.

The match against Sydney will mark Essendon's third Friday night game in five rounds.

Rounds 19 and 20 loom as a season-shaping fortnight for the Bombers, who will be keen to knock off their fellow finals contenders and remain in the race for the top eight.

The club will have ticketing information in the weeks leading into each game.
