2023 will be Georgia Nanscawen’s first season playing for the Bombers at AFL level, after the midfielder missed their inaugural year after tearing her ACL. Despite this, the former Hockeyroo and North Melbourne AFLW player has already made impact throughout Essendon’s VFLW program. Nanscawen led the club to claim the 2022 VFLW Premiership and claimed the back-to back Lambert-Pearce Medal, the VFLW’s highest individual honour.
