Mosquito Fleet clinic a hit with the kids!
Over 1300 children attended the 2004 Mosquito Fleet Clinic last week. The popular clinic was held over two days at Windy Hill on Monday, July 5th and Wednesday, July 7th. The Essendon players hosted the clinic which included various activities within the Hall of Fame, Windy Hill gym, Social Club and of course on the oval. Skeeta was also in attendance to make the day fun and exciting.

Children also had the opportunity to gain autographs from their favourite players after the clinic and stay and watch the Essendon players run through their paces at training.
Over 40 volunteers assisted running the clinic on each day. The club would like to thank all the volunteers for their contribution to making the 2004 Mosquito Fleet such a success.
At the end of last season it was not known if Adam Ramanauskas would play more than 84 AFL games. He had battled a life threatening illness and his health and well being were at the top of the priority list, rather than his football career. To his credit he has fought back from having a low-grade cancer in his neck. He hasn’t missed a game this season and on Friday night against West Coast he will play his 100th game for Essendon.
