Sandringham defeated Bendigo by 38 points in convincing fashion at Trevor Barker Oval this afternoon. Sandringham set up the victory in the first term with a four goal to one opening quarter and never looked back.

Essendon listed rookie Mark Baguley continued his impressive season at VFL level while Henry Slattery was among the best for Bendigo.
The loss is Bendigo’s third in a row and they will now have a week off before turning their attention to Collingwood in round nine.
