Testing has begun on shooting AFL in 3D and Essendon players were filmed at training this week in their full playing gear to capture their skills in 3D.

Samsung will hold public demonstrations of their new 3D technology at their 3D TV experiential booth at Essendon's Round 10 clash with the Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium next week.

In this week’s poll, we pose the question: ‘Would you like to see Essendon play in 3D?'

To vote in this week’s poll click here.

In last week’s poll we asked: ‘Who is Essendon’s best tall forward’ and ver 65% of voters said 'Scott Gumbleton' while 31% selected 'Michael Hurley' and 4% chose 'other'.

Here’s what some of the voters had to say:

Anne from Victoria says: After enduring frustrating injury prone seasons, Scott is now starting to show the promise and ability which led Essendon to select him with a very early draft pick. He is improving every week and will be a huge asset to the forward line in years to come.

Mick from Tas says: I think in a year or two Michael Hurley will be unstoppable, his ability to kick on both feet and pace will make him the most feared FF in the comp, perhaps the next Wayne Carey (on field).

Lockie James from Tasmania says: I think if we give Scott a chance he could become a great tall forward and a good option in the forward line.

Nicole Watson from Torquay says: Michael Hurley has shown us what he is capable of, but with Scott Gumbleton it is still a matter of wait and see. Both will hopefully be superstars of the future.

Matt from Vic says: I think as a key forward, Gumby just shades Hurley. Hard to separate, but I think Gumby takes more pack marks than Hurls.

Ben from Queensland says: rebuilding or not, the fact we're choosing between two guys with <20 games says we changed out too fast. How do you think these options make Jay Neagle feel? Not even a choice?

Natha Sao-Mafiti from Ferntree Gully says: It's hard to choose at this stage as both Hurley and Gumbleton are early days into their respective careers and both will be future stars of the club some day. However, I'd just give the edge to Hurley due to his ability to play at both ends of the ground. You can't fault Scott Gumbleton's work rate.

BJS from Adelaide says: Matthew Lloyd, or should be!

Ciaran Broderick from Craigieburn, Victoria says: I voted for Hurley, but Monfries is really good even though he's not a tall forward, and Zaka's doing well too.

Nick from Mount Waverley says: Scotty is the main man. If we are going to go anywhere in the coming years then Scotty needs to continue to progress.

Dave Sutherland from Deepdene/Vic says: Gumbleton looks very promising and can't wait until he gets about 40 or 50 games under his belt. Hurley is in my opinion the best young player at Essendon but is a defender, not a forward. Will do okay as a forward due to his huge ability but I'm hoping Jay Neagle, Michael Still and Jake Carlisle come on fast in their development to release Hurls to go back.

Michael from Cranbourne says: Scott Gumbleton has started the season in more consistent form, but both these young fellas are going to be beauties. Sit back Bomber fans and enjoy watching these two develop.

Shane D from Highton/Geelong says: Currently I would say it is Gumby, Hurley seems to be struggling a bit. Is it injury? Is it off-field distraction? Gumby has been a real surprise packet this year. I had written him off but it's good to see him prove me wrong.

Peter Langtry from Australia says: Out of those three Lloyd is still the best, even from the commentary box.

Joseph Attard from Taylors Hill says: I really dislike choosing, but at the moment, I think Hurley has the edge. This is because Hurley has had more game time and has been known for consistently kicking some bags off goals.

Diane Trask from Bacchus Marsh says: I say Gumbleton at the moment only because he has had more game time and is improving each week. I am sure Hurley will get better as well but he has only played a few games. Can’t wait till both the boys are on fire and the fans say ""now that’s a forward line"" Diane

Jan Di Pietro from New York City says: Just based on his creativity and ability to create chances from nothing, I have to say Hurley. Having said that, I think/hope we will see Hurley turn into an around-the-ground player like a James Hird or Adam Goodes type. Both have bright futures! Go dons!

James Brown from Berwick, Vic says: this is really hard to choose. Both of these players are very early in their careers. I have to choose Gumby, because he has got more pace and is taller. They both have pretty good hands, and can kick a goal. That’s all you can ask of your big forwards. Very hard to split at this stage.

Paul from Nauru says: Jay Neagle in my opinion can become a first class tall forward with no arguments! Given time at AFL time play he will easily become another Neagle at BomberLand and establish another famous father/son combination at EFC after the Fletchers and the Watsons etc.

Cameron from Adelaide says: Hurls has shown he can win a game off his own boot with the round 22 game last year so he got the nod for me. Doesn't really matter though as they will both be excellent players over the next 10 years. Hopefully Neagle will too.

Angeline Baron from Melbourne/Vic/Aus says: This particular poll question I believe to be unfair to the two young players Hurley and Gumbleton so early in their careers. There are other fantastic players who deserve better than to be placed in an ""others"" category.

Brock Wright from Tullamarine says: Gumby at the moment but Hurley will be. His club suspension hasn't helped him at all.

Damo Hammond from Altona Meadows, Vic says: Gumby is very fit and seems to have a big tank. He makes contests and tackles well for a big man. Gumby is also a good mark, but his kicking can let him down at times. I’m looking forward to seeing him in the red and black for years to come.
