Continuing the club's 150-year anniversary celebrations, the Essendon County Tour is heading interstate for the rest of the season with a very prestigious item on board.

To coincide with celebrations for the club’s 150th anniversary, the tour presents the opportunity for interstate Bombers fans to get up close and personal with the 2000 Premiership cup.

Country Tour | Day four

The final day of the tour sees Dons champion Mark Harvey visit Warrnambool before heading back up the highway to the NEC Hangar.

For the Adelaide leg of the tour, South Australian Dons fans had the chance to take photos with the 2000 Premiership cup and meet fellow SA players in Mason Redman and Will Snelling. 

Now, the cup will head West with Premiership stars Gary O’Donnell and Mark Harvey to Perth, featuring at the Dons’ Country Tour event at the Empire Bar, Great Eastern Highway on Thursday, June 23 (round 15) at 8pm. 

The Dons will then visit Brisbane in round 17 and Sydney in round 21, with further details to come.

Interstate Essendon supporters, and football fans alike will have the opportunity to have photos with club legends and the 2000 Premiership cup while enjoying a Carlton Draught along the way. 

As a thank you from the club to fans across the state, all events will be free for supporters to attend.

The WA Bombers supporter group will also be in attendance, while a raffle will take place at the event.
