Essendon Football Club announced last Friday that it has re-affirmed its commitment to the Bendigo Bombers alignment for the next three years. The news about the continuation of the alignment was welcomed by coach Peter Banfield. After one year of coaching the team, Banfield looks forward to building on the foundations that were laid this season. After a slow start, in which the team only won one of its first eight matches, they finished the season strongly and showed promising signs for 2004.
