2000 Premiership player Scott Lucas remains in doubt for the blockbuster Friday night match between Essendon and Richmond. The centre half forward walked three laps of the MCG at Essendon's training this afternoon before leaving the track. Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy told the media at training that Lucas is a 50/50 chance of playing in the round two match. David Hille is in his third year at the Essendon Football Club and he simply wants to nail a permanent position in the senior side. Judging by his round one performance against Geelong - he is on the right track. With injuries to Paul Salmon and Steven Alessio, Hille and Aaron Henneman have been sharing the ruck role. Hille did the bulk of the work last weekend against Geelong giant Steven King and he did it exceptionally well.
