Essendon has won its fourth game of the season, defeating the Western Bulldogs by 27 points this afternoon at The Dome. With 12 individual goal kickers, it was an encouraging team performance that saw the Bombers lead at every change to take home the four points, the Whitten Cup, and more importantly keep their finals aspirations alive.
In tonight's post-match press conference, Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy hinted that Matthew Lloyd might play a more permanent role across the midfield and half forward this season.
