Emerging defender Tyson Slattery will make his AFL debut this Saturday night when the Bombers hit the road to take on the Crows.
The South Australian will join Irishman Michael Quinn to bolster Essendon's defence in the absence of Dustin Fletcher (suspended) and Tayte Pears (pancreas).
Kyle Reimers also returns to the side this week, while Jarrod Atkinson has been omitted.
