For contestants in the James Hird Footy Tipping competition, round six of the AFL proved easy pickings and did little to help separate those at the top of the leaderboard. Marcia and Amber Horsfall both joined Kevan Thomas at the top of the leaderboard after tipping eight winners. Rob Farquar and Shaun Searle remained in touch after tipping seven winners while Cameron Newlands, Belinda Sydes, Dave Thomas and Michael Lucas tipped eight winners to remain within striking distance of the leaders.
