Essendon will welcome back Dylan Shiel into its starting 22 for round 12's clash with North Melbourne.
The gun midfielder has missed the past two weeks with a calf complaint, but has been named to take his place in the side as a starting interchange rotation.
The Bombers have two omissions in small forward Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and ruckman Nick Bryan, with last week's substitute Massimo D'Ambrosio holding his place in the side.
