Well done to everyone who took part, and the BomberLand team will be in contact with the competition winners shortly to confirm their prize. Michael Finn has won for himself – interstate travel with the team in season 2003. Leanne Neville will get to sit on the bench at an Essendon home and away game next season and Mark Tarrant has won a one hour kick to kick session with Matthew Lloyd. Congratulations again to the prize winners.
The inaugural Climb the Ladder competition has now concluded with the last home and away round played, and the final ladder determined. What a difference 12 months can make in the life of a footballer. This time just under a year ago, Mark Bolton got the devastating news he had been dropped from the grand final side. This forced Bolton to do a lot of soul searching and instead of throwing in the towel and giving up, he used the omission as ammunition for a solid pre-season. ""Missing out on the Grand Final last year sort of stung me a little bit through pre-season. So that probably gave me more incentive to do well this year. It was a bit of a driving force,"" Bolton said.
