<DIV>Essendon will visit 11 towns throughout Victoria and Tasmania on January 30 to hold junior football clinics, present debut jumpers to past players and take part in functions for Essendon regional supporter groups and AFL fans. Details are listed below and membership manager Melissa Chan said the visits - which are being held in conjunction with the AFL as part of the Telstra AFL Community Camp program - are particularly exciting for Essendon members and supporters from those areas.</DIV>
Essendon will visit 11 towns throughout Victoria and Tasmania on January 30 to hold junior football clinics, present debut jumpers to past players and take part in functions for Essendon regional supporter groups and AFL fans.
Details are listed below and membership manager Melissa Chan said the visits - which are being held in conjunction with the AFL as part of the Telstra AFL Community Camp program - are particularly exciting for Essendon members and supporters from those areas.
""AFL and Essendon supporters located in these regions will have the opportunity to meet the players and coaches,"" Ms Chan said.
""Bomber fans will also be able to sign up as an Essendon Member and really get behind the team in 2009.""
All events are open to the public (Note: the dinners have a small cost attached).
Media are welcome to interview the players (and coaches) at the clinics.

Essendon Football Club would like to congratulate Professor David Hill of the Cancer Council Victoria for being recognised as an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO). Hill received the Australia Day award in recognition for his work fighting cancer in Victoria - nationally and internationally.
