COMMUNITY GAME
The Essendon Football Club will be celebrating its community, welcoming new and existing fans of AFL to Marvel Stadium on July 5th for our Community Game against the Gold Coast Suns.
Essendon has a rich history of family and community and as it continues to grow, it acknowledges the importance of connecting with its community to bring new people along on the club journey.
The Community Game is an inclusive game day, bringing all supporters together to celebrate Australian Rules Football.
ACTIVATIONS
Head down to the game early with the family and visit our Kids Zone at Gate 7 (from 10:45am) for Face Painting, giveaways and more!
Our Bomber Kids program will also be holding an interactive Bomber kids lesson, with music and movement games, and a colouring in station. Join in for a session at 11:00am, 11:20am, or 11:40am. Be sure to come by for our Mascot Meet-Up at 11:30am to get a photo with Skeeta and Sky.
Plus, keep an eye out in the stadium for the Red and Black Community Fan Wall, to submit your photos to be displayed on the big screen at half-time!

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and on gameday at ticket boxes outside gates 1 & 5.
Reserved seats remain available, and all General Admission areas are on level three, or level one Standing Room.
Double header
Marvel Stadium is hosting two AFL matches on Saturday, July 5th. Patrons are required to hold a valid match ticket for the specific game they are attending, therefore if attending both games, you require two tickets, one for each game.
If you have tickets to both the Essendon v Gold Coast SUNS and St Kilda v Hawthorn games, you will need to exit the Stadium after Game 1 to scan back in on your new ticket for Game 2.
Membership info
Essendon members have two ways to access the game on Saturday.
Members' physical membership card has a barcode that will allow members to scan entry at the turnstiles, however if members are yet to receive their card or prefer the convenience of using a mobile device, simply log in to the official Essendon app using your membership details to access your mobile membership.
All members without reserved seats can upgrade to a seat through Ticketmaster and use the ticket in your Ticketmaster account to get into the ground.

Member rooms
The Victory Room located on level one behind aisle fifteen is open to all Essendon members throughout the game. Our member raffle will be held in the Victory Room with major prizes including a 2025 AFL team-signed footy, and a $60 Bomber Shop voucher. The raffle will be drawn at half-time, so make sure you’re in the room to win. Show your mobile membership card or physical member card for entry.
High Mark members will have access to the Quill Room or Rogers Room for the game – join us pre-game and enter our first goal scorer competition for your chance to win a $60 Bomber Shop voucher!
If you’re not a member, it’s not too late to sign up for 2025. Simply signup/renew online and then login to the Essendon FC app to access your ticket. Further information on member benefits can be found here.
MERCHANDISE
Bombers fans can grab all the latest and greatest merchandise from the Bomber Shop, located externally at gates one, two and three. If you’re already inside the ground, you can grab your merchandise internally on level one at gates five and seven, on level two at gate six and level three at gate six. Don’t forget to show your physical or mobile membership card to get 10% off at all EFC merchandise outlets.
ACCESSIBILITY
Marvel Stadium offers a range of Halal food options across various outlets. For more information, please speak with venue staff.
Marvel Stadium has two multi-faith prayer rooms located on Level 1, Aisle 3 & Level 3, Aisle 17 with a maximum capacity of 12 people at any given time. Prayer rooms are equipped with prayer mats and privacy curtains, and Level 1's room has a wash basin available. If Level 3 is not open, please see a customer service staff member to assist, or visit the Level 1 room.

GETTING TO THE GROUND
Car

Parking is available on Saturday at Marvel Stadium with entry from 6:00am. It is recommended to pre-book your parking via the Ticketmaster or Marvel Stadium website to ensure you have a space. Once the car park is at capacity, vehicles may be redirected away from the car park.

Alternatively, Marvel Stadium is easily accessible via public transport.
Train
Southern Cross Station is a four-minute walk via the pedestrian bridge to Marvel Stadium. If you’re coming from outside Melbourne, V/Line services will take you to Southern Cross Station.
Trams
Marvel Stadium is a short walk from trams stopping in the CBD on Spencer Street, Bourke Street, Collins Street, La Trobe Street and Harbour Esplanade. Visit Public Transport Victoria for more information.
Bus
The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Train Station (four-minute walk) and services airport transfers as well as routes across country Victoria.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND ROAD DISRUPTIONS
Check before you travel to and from Marvel Stadium this Saturday to avoid public transport and road disruptions.
Road disruptions
- All eastbound lanes closed between Elizabeth and Swanston streets until October 2025.
- Clyde Road citybound ramp closed from 4.30am, Friday 13 June to mid-November.
- Westbound lane closed between Swanston and Elizabeth streets. Left hand turn into St Kilda Road remains open.
Train disruptions
- Hurstbridge Line: Buses replace trains between Heidelberg and Eltham stations from first service Tuesday 1 July to last service, Thursday 24 July 2025.
- Werribee and Williamstown lines: Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Werribee/Williamstown stations from 11pm Friday 4 July to last service Sunday 6 July 2025.
- Sunbury Line: Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunshine from 11pm Friday 4 July to last service Sunday 13 July.
- Coaches are also replacing trains on sections of the Gippsland Line until mid-August.
