Essendon's Baby Bombers and Flight Squad programs recently provided families with two exceptional footy experiences, starting with a training facility visit on July 11 and followed by a night experience at Marvel Stadium on July 25.

The first event took place at the NEC Hangar, where 11 families enjoyed outdoor activities with a kick-to-kick and run around on the grounds. The highlight came during the AFL Captain's Run training session, where participants not only watched the boys prepare but had the unique opportunity to interact directly with the players.

The morning concluded with families socialising in the Essendonians Conference Room.

Two weeks later, families were treated to a completely different but equally memorable experience at Marvel Stadium. The evening featured VIP access to a private function space, where families enjoyed time re-connecting with one another as well as discussions with EFC Directors Tim Roberts and David Wills, giving participants insights into current club operations.

Families were then escorted to ground level to participate in the Guard of Honour, standing in front of the banner as the team ran out. Throughout the evening, children enjoyed face painting, colouring activities, strategy games and video games.

These two distinct events showcased the Baby Bombers and Flight Squad's commitment to providing varied and extraordinary opportunities for Essendon Past Players. From intimate behind-the-scenes training access to the grand spectacle of matchday at Marvel Stadium, both experiences created unforgettable memories for all families involved.
