After just five seasons in the system, Archie Perkins has been quick to notch up the 100-game milestone.

The dynamic forward hits the ton in a Thursday night clash with the Blues, a significant moment still very much in the early days of his career as a Don.

Coming through as a No.10 pick in 2020 (one of three consecutive selections for the Club in that draft class), Perkins has impressed with his goal sense and strength over the footy as he's found his feet across varying roles both in the midfield and up forward.

His three-goal breakout against the Crows in round 17 of 2021 showcased his electrifying best to the Dons faithful, with his knack of shrugging a tackle and quickly locating the sticks becoming a standout in his game.

A 21-game debut campaign set a nice platform for Perkins, who became a more consistent prospect over the course of 2022 and '23, slotting 34 goals in the two seasons combined as a high half-forward.

Perkins' opening round performances against the Hawks in back-to-back seasons (2023 and '24) are still arguably the best showings of his talent in both roles.

His three-goal effort in the first fixture highlighted his explosive power and bursts as a forward, whereas his dominant game to kick off last year showed another potential inside midfield option for the Club to consider into the future.

The 23-year-old has slotted 17 goals from 19 appearances in 2025 to date, bouncing back nicely in the second half of the season after a challenging period in the side's losing streak.

Still an enticing player in the Bombers' young mix looking ahead, Perkins will be hoping for another solid display in his milestone game as he continues to finish the year on a strong note.
