DREAMTIME
Following last year's hard-fought clash against Richmond, Essendon faces the Tigers again this Friday in Darwin for the Dreamtime match.
This year, the Dons will wear a Dreamtime guernsey designed by Lucas Waddleton and Lawson Richards, two students from Taylors Lakes Secondary College. The 2025 design embodies the unity of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. The gum tree symbolises a family tree, while the circles represent diverse groups converging at a gathering place for humans and animals. The bird footprints are to signify the presence of animals and nature, illustrating the harmonious coming together of all life.
