PRIDE GAME

Across Rounds 9 and 10, Essendon will proudly take part in the inaugural Pride rounds. Demonstrating the Club’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, visibility and unity, the Bombers will be wearing their 2025 Pride Guernsey for both rounds.

This year's design highlights symbols representing the LGBTQI+ community, including non-binary, asexual, bisexual, intersex, transgender, gay male, and lesbian communities, provided by the Purple Bombers.

The symbols are displayed to form Essendon’s iconic red sash, celebrating the inclusive culture that builds within the Club every day.

PURPLE BOMBERS

Founded in 2014, The Purple Bombers are the official diversity and inclusion supporter group for the Essendon Football Club. They are dedicated to building a vibrant and diverse coterie, laying the groundwork for a welcoming, safe, and inclusive community for all supporters. So, don’t forget to pop by the Purple Bomber’s for some awesome prizes and giveaways this Sunday at Windy Hill.
