Essendon has secured another five key re-signings in the VFLW space, with Jayda Richardson, Layla Prince, Ashlea Melnikas, Sarah Ford and Tayla Hart-Aluni all committing to the Club for next season.

The news comes in light of another batch of five putting pen to paper last week including skipper El Chaston.

Prince is fresh off a breakout season as runner up in the Club's Best and Fairest, with Ford receiving Best Club Person in recognition of her standing within the four walls.

Richardson was named as an emerging leader on the verge of this season, with Melnikas backing up a career-best 2024 once again this year. Hart-Aluni continues to develop as an exciting talent despite a torrid recent run with injury.

The signings add another boost to the Bombers' program for next year.
