Second-year Don Amy Gaylor has been rewarded with her first All-Australian squad berth.

Gaylor was named in the 44-player squad after a stellar follow-up season in 2025, appearing in all 12 games for the Bombers and relishing her split between midfield and the back half.

The 20-year-old averaged nearly 18 touches (10 contested) and four tackles per game this year, often a cool head for the side as an intercepting defender when not tasked with extra on-ball minutes.

Gaylor's campaign has been highlighted as a member of the Club's Emerging Leaders group - she reliably plays multiple positions and has immense potential for the future.

The youngster opened the season with quality back-to-back efforts against GWS and West Coast, the latter holding 21 touches with career-highs of eight tackles, six clearances and several crucial intercept marks at key times in the game. Gaylor also stood up in a spirited fight against ladder leaders North Melbourne with a brilliant early goal.

Gaylor’s best effort of 24 disposals against top four fancy Brisbane in round 10 continued a strong finish to the season for the former Calder Cannon, who remained one of the most consistent contributors during a tough run for the side in the results column.

The nomination makes Gaylor a chance to become the fourth All-Australian on the Club’s list, with Maddi Gay, Bonnie Toogood and Maddy Prespakis having received the honour in recent seasons.

The final 21-player team will be announced during the W Awards at the conclusion of this year’s Finals Series.

Gaylor is also still up for voting on the 22under22 team for 2025. Secure her place in the final side HERE.
