This follows the acquisition of Fujitsu General Limited by Paloma Rheem Holdings, and coincides with the company moving in a new strategic direction as it looks to invest in other initiatives that facilitate growth and evolution as it transitions to its new ownership.

Philip Perham, managing director, Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand, said, “Our partnership with Essendon has been an extraordinary journey, one built on shared values, mutual respect, and a genuine commitment to excellence, both on and off the field. We have forged invaluable relationships, engaged deeply with the club and its passionate community, and learned a great deal from one another for more than a decade. It has been a privilege to stand alongside the Bombers, supporting the club, celebrating triumphs, and working together to make a meaningful impact beyond the game.

“Fujitsu General would like to thank the Essendon Football Club, including the leadership, players, staff, members, its fans, and the local community for their support over the last 12 years. We are proud of the initiatives the partnership has let us achieve to support our commitment to grassroots programs and diverse community initiatives.”

In a show of commitment and reflection on the success of the business to business outcomes generated through the Partnership, Fujitsu General Australia will continue on as Co-Major Partner of the EFC Network.

Essendon Chief Executive Officer Craig Vozzo acknowledged Fujitsu’s substantial contribution as a Co-Major Partner and welcomed the opportunity to continue working together in a different capacity.

“Fujitsu General has been a loyal and influential supporter, contributing to the Club’s growth both on and off the field for more than a decade. We recognise this long-term affiliation as an outstanding success for both organisations, and whilst we farewell them as our Co-major Partnership concludes, we’re pleased that we are continuing to work together ongoing through our EFC Business Network,” Vozzo said.

Fujitsu General Australia continues to proudly support sporting and community initiatives like the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation. The company has donated more than AU$11M to this worthy cause since it was established in 1996, with a percentage of sales from Fujitsu General’s air conditioning units going towards the funding of outreach programs and exploring better ways to treat and overcome cancer.
