Essendon has recalled Archie May into its round three side as a late change.

Dyson Sharp (ankle) will make way after initially being listed as a test for this weekend's clash with North Melbourne.

With the late change, small forward Huss El Achkar joins the emergencies ahead of the Club's first game at Marvel Stadium this season.

The Bombers go head-to-head with the Roos from 7:35pm on Saturday night.
