Essendon VFLW has made four changes to its side ahead of Saturday’s round nine clash against Collingwood at Windy Hill.

Eleanor Cornish is one of the notable inclusions, lining up for her first game with the side this year.

Ruby Svarc and Erin Gogerly have also been named to return, after being sidelined for a number of weeks with injuries.

Kirby Hicks, Shae Audley and Cecilia McIntosh will look to continue their good form, with the trio putting in impressive performances in last week’s game, earning a spot in the round eight VFLW Team of the Week.

Kendra Heil will once again act as a key defensive post, recording a round-high seven rebound 50s in last week’s win over Melbourne Uni.

Despite playing some midfield minutes last week, Molly Warburton will start in defence with support from skipper Courtney Ugle and rising youngster Eloise Ashley-Cooper.

At the opposite end, Jessica Stassi and Lori Stepnell will start in the forward-line.

Hayley Trevean (illness) and Lauren Ahrens (concussion) have been ruled out with injury, while Hayley Bullas will miss at least another week with a knee injury suffered against NT Thunder.

Star recruit Ally Anderson will also miss a second consecutive week due to AFLW commitments with the Brisbane Lions.

Freda Puruntatameri has been named the 23rd player.

Coming off the back of a 13-point win against Melbourne Uni, the Bombers will be looking to continue their winning streak on Saturday.

The team will be finalised ahead of the first bounce at 12pm, with live match updates available through the Essendon VFLW Twitter account.
