Coming in off the five-day break, Essendon has made four changes to take on Richmond in the annual Dreamtime at the 'G clash.

The Bombers have opted to bring in Jade Gresham, Tom Edwards and Matt Guelfi for more pressure and firepower up forward, with Ben McKay also recalled in the back half.

Nik Cox, Jayden Nguyen and Will Setterfield have been omitted this week, with Peter Wright to sit out due to his knee injury.

The Dreamtime fixture gets underway from the MCG at 7:45pm AEST on Friday.
